SMARTPHONES

These days, smartphones are becoming more popular that standard cellular phones.  A smartphone IS a handheld computer and lots of people are having trouble grasping everything they are capable of.  And like computers, they can be intimidating and frustrating if you don’t know how to work them.  We can help you “move in” in your smartphone and use it to its full potential for your lifestyle and comfort level.

  • Android – Setup & Training on Android-based phones & tablets.
  • Customizing Settings & Home Screens – Getting a new smartphone is like “moving into” a new computer.  You can personalize it for the way you use it, getting rid of the clutter to avoid confusion.  Setup your “Home Screen” as you would with your Windows Desktop, showing only the programs (apps) you frequently use.
  • Downloading/Using Apps – Apps are another word for “program”.  They can help you in your daily life, and/or help you have fun.
  • Connecting Phone to Wi-Fi – If you are in an area where you don’t have carrier service, most phones will allow you to connect to a Wi-Fi network while in a coffee shop, or at a friends house.
  • Moving Content Between Your Smartphone & Computer – This is a common struggle.  However, it doesn’t need to be.  There are multiple ways to move/copy documents and pictures between your smartphone and your computer(s).
  • Back-Up Phone Content – Backup your contact lists, pictures, etc. so you don’t lose it if (when) something bad happens to your phone.
